Mr.O.P.Ralhan was born on 12th August 1928 in Sialkot, Pakistan. His contribution to Indian cinema has been exceptional and his film productions can never be forgotten. He produced films with esteemed Indian movie stars like Rajendra Kumar, Mala Sinha, Dharmendra, Helen, Prem Chopra, Sunil Dutt, Sanjeev Kumar, Reena Roy, Naazi etc. to name a few. He was also responsible for introducing today’s legends Amitabh Bachchan, Zeenat Aman & Kabir Bedi to the Hindi Film Industry.
His own life, was the stuff that dreams are made off. As a boy, he had no monetary assets and worked selling newspapers at railway stations. Even though he had humble beginnings he dared to dream big. His dream was to become a great writer, actor, director and producer in the film industry. He would take on several jobs and worked relentlessly to acquire his aspiration to become one of the greatest film producer’s of his time. He eventually lived his dream, with grit and determination that encapsulated the man.
Mr.O.P. Ralhan passed away peacefully on 20th April 1999, and leaves behind a legacy that cannot be put into words. His art and creativity lives on, in the hearts of audiences, and to family and friends, his passion, incredible talent, philanthropic nature and tremendous love for his family and the film fraternity, will forever be remembered and cherished.

Mrs. Rupalli P. Shah, daughter of Mr. O.P. Ralhan & Proprietor of Ralhan Productions is an inspirational woman at the top of her game, helming a renowned production house while also having varied other interests.
Late Mr.O.P.Ralhan has been the bedrock of Rupalli’s childhood and her enduring love for her father in keeping his legacy alive is never far from her thoughts and actions. She has a burning desire to fulfill her late father’s life-long dream of producing a film on the life & times of “Ashoka the Great”.
In between her varied pursuits, she has mastered the art of balance, and raised two children with her son, Armaan Ralhan following in the Ralhan family footsteps, and starting a career in the Hindi Film Industry & her daughter Rashee Shah Kuchroo an entrepreneur in the Pet food industry. Rupalli resides in Mumbai with her husband Mr.Pradeep Shah who is the Director of his family owned business.

Armaan is the grandson of late Mr.O.P.Ralhan, one of India’s most loved film producers of yesteryears.
Armaan was educated at the prestigious Cathedral & John Connon School in Mumbai and went on to pursue his Business Management Studies at Regents College London UK, followed by Film making at the New York Film Academy, USA. He also had the opportunity to work as an assistant on Dharma Productions romantic Hindi film “2 States”.
He debuted as an actor in Yash Raj Films “Befikre” directed by Aditya Chopra and is now pursuing a career as an actor. He intends to venture into production and direction of movies further down the road.
